School News

In view of the development of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Education Bureau (EDB) has announced that schools may commence the new school year in accordance with their originally scheduled dates, however, all face-to-face classes will have to be suspended until further notice.

To align with this arrangement, our Biology and Geography field studies courses for September and October will be switched to online teaching mode, and will be implemented in mid-September.

Based on the course date confirmed with the schools previously, we will further discuss and confirm with the concerned participating schools on the feasible schedule for online learning in September and October.

As resumption of face-to-face classes remains uncertain at the moment, those schools that have switched to online learning mode will not be arranged any field studies practice even face-to-face teaching returns to normal. If schools decide to withdraw from online learning or request to postpone the course until face-to-face teaching re-commences, we cannot guarantee to prioritise offering a place in the same school year or even in the next school year. We seek for your kind understanding if this arrangement causes you any inconvenience.

We will also notify all teachers of Biology and Geography about the details of online learning by email separately , and will contact those teachers who join our courses in September and October by phone.

We will monitor the development of epidemic and keep track of latest guidelines provided by EDB for arrangement of field studies courses held on November afterwards, and will be in touch with schools closely.
